Salinity as a barrier for ship hull-related dispersal of bivalves

‘Important long-term experimental data on the survival of invasive dreissenid and mytilid species under various salinity conditions’ were there waiting on the shelf for years. But now they have been published in Marine Biology (Mar Biol 163:147) and give amongst others important insights in the risk on ship hull-related dispersal of these species.

‘Van der Gaag, Van der Velde, Wijnhoven, Leuven (2016). Salinity as a barrier for ship hull-related dispersal and invasiveness of dreissenid and mytilid bivalves. Marine Biology 163: 147′ is an open access publication with Ecoauthor involvement.
